A graduate of Gardner-Webb University, David moved to New York in 1977 to study acting.
He took a part-time position in producing photography, camera-ready art, and separations for the printing industry and it quickly became a full time profession that also included sales and client development. After 9+ years in the pre-press industry, David moved to Richmond, VA, following the birth of his third child.
Seeking better employment, he approached a local search firm, Richmond Professional Placements for help.
Instead of placing him in 1987, RPP decided to hire him as a recruiter to serve the Printing and Packaging industries, and it began a very successful career.
When RPP dissolved in 1991, David went to work for Management Recruiters of
Richmond, (now The Richmond Group), and his career soared to new heights.
In 1995 David attained Certified Senior Account Manager status, (the industry equivalent of a CPA), while winning many awards and Pacesetter trips.
He joined Sterling Partners in April of 2008 where he continues his success in serving the pre-press, printing, packaging and graphic arts industries, providing extraordinarily talented human capital to clients from coast to coast. |
